Elementis U13’s travelled to Skelton following a 2 week rest from league action hoping to maintain their winning start to the season, Elementis decided to take advantage of the wind for the first half of the game which initially started slowly before Elementis earned a corner which Seaton took and found Tom Young who headed powerfully into the Skelton net, 10 minutes later Elementis made it 2-0 with a strike from Jack Reay, the first half was dominated by Elementis and it was no surprise that following another Seaton corner Jack Reay was on hand to make it 3-0 at half time.The 2nd half started with Elementis again dominating the game but were fully aware that Skelton would not give up, although Elementis had a number of chances with Jason Elgie and Nathan Patterson coming close to increasing the score Skelton also had their fair share of chances and gave the away team some anxious moments before the final whistle. Man of the match for Elementis was Jonathon Seaton for an excellent midfield display.A special thanks to the officials and parents of Skelton for their hospitality, which made Elementis’s U13’s first visit to this club a most pleasurable experience.
